IDEO Reflection

From the IDEO movie, I learned that when designing any product it’s great to have different ideas. When designing with a group of people, there are a lot of concepts. I think that no matter how outlandish or crazy the idea maybe: it is always good to think outside of the box. When designers share their ideas with other designers, they can be inspired by one another and build off each other. This a way see understand an idea from another person’s perspective, allows to expand a person’s horizon. Also what I learned from watching this movie is that always great to work hands on with a product because it allows the designers a chance to experiment and see what works. A designer creates better ideas from actually producing a product with their own hands than just thinking about an idea. Finally, another important thing that I learned about design from watching this movie is that to make sure to get feedback from numerous people especially the customers. There is always something that can be improved. It’s best to have other people’s opinion because it’s a way to make a product better and to see what the public likes and dislikes. In conclusion, from this movie, I saw firsthand what it is like to work with a group of designers from entirely different backgrounds and observe how they were able to come together to make a good product.
